The T-Mobile G1 with Android was the very first of the Android devices and was originally known as the HTC Dream. The G1 had one of the most flawless releases we've ever seen in a smartphone as there wasn't a single quirk at release that wasn't addressed by HTC and Android stating that the upcoming 1.5 build of Android would fill in the missing features.
